Idris Solomon Bio
Idris Talib Solomon aims to tell stories that are often overlooked and lack representation. He focuses on telling long form stories based on the African American community.
Winner of multiple awards, including a Fulbright Fellowship, and accepted into the Eddie Adams Workshop, his photography work covers the diversity of dancers in Harlem, a funeral home in East New York, muralists in Bushwick and Hip Hop culture in Ghana.
Idris is based in New York with his family and his clients includes The New York Times, Bloomberg News, NBC News, Brooklyn Historical Society, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Drone Racing League, YouTube, Swatch, Amazon Prime and HBO.
